About Sea to Sky School District
The Sea to Sky School District (SD 48) is located close to Vancouver but offers the unique natural environment in North America. The area includes the picturesque natural hiking and biking wonderland known as Squamish, the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Whistler: the premier ski resort of North America, and the stunning village of Pemberton, where mountains and nature adorn the lovely small town.
The district has a learning community of almost 5,000 students across 15 schools (nine elementary schools, one middle school and three secondary schools. It welcomes about 200 international students annually.
The school district is committed to student engagement through relevant and flexible learning to empower them for future success.
Sea to Sky School District has schools in three B.C. areas, Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton.
Some schools have programs of choice like a hockey academy, outdoor recreation leadership, French immersion, soccer academy, ACE It (cooking, carpentry, automotive and electrical), and more.
You just have to open your School Discovery Tool and send them a connection request. Once the connection is approved by the school, you'll be able to find them in your school search, include them in your beautiful proposals or even send direct applications to the school!
