Your monthly update from your partners at Edvisor
Before we get into this month’s edition, a word on the news many of you may be dealing with right now. The sudden closure of some of the most recognised brands in the English language sector over the past weeks has left students without classes, agencies without answers, and dedicated staff without jobs. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we know how much work is landing on agency teams this week.
If you have students caught up in this, Edvisor is here to help. Our team can walk you through insurance and accommodation options while re-placements are being sorted out, and the many schools and campuses on Edvisor are ready to talk about openings, transfers and new, lasting partnerships. This industry has absorbed a great deal over the past three years. Each time, agencies and schools have found the way through by working together, and in doing so we have shown that it does more than survive. Contact your Edvisor partnerships manager if we can help.
Welcome to September! The summer peak is behind us, autumn intakes are underway, and planning for 2027 has started in earnest across the network. This month we have a first look at where EdSummit is heading next year, a set of upgrades to forms and lead routing, a warm welcome to the newest partners on Edvisor, and a look at how the network transacted in August. Let's get into it.
EdSummit is coming back in 2027, and it is growing. Our in-person summits bring together the agencies and schools that make up the Edvisor network for a full day of partner meetings, market insight and the kind of conversations that only happen face to face.
Four cities, one network
Adding Istanbul to the calendar reflects how much the network has grown in Türkiye and the wider region over the past two years, and how many of you asked us to bring the summit format there.
Each summit brings together a curated room of active agencies and the school partners recruiting in that market, with a discussion panel and time to connect afterwards. Details on how agencies and schools can take part will follow with the venue announcements.
Venues, agendas and registration details will follow in the coming weeks. If your school would like to be part of EdSummit 2027, or you are an agency that wants to make sure you are on the invitation list, contact your Edvisor partnerships manager.
A steady month of releases, most of them aimed at the parts of the job that happen every day: capturing new students and getting them to the right person on your team.
📝 Forms that speak the right language, and land with the right person
Three upgrades to Forms shipped this month.
For routing that is more specific than a role or the least-loaded person, Automations can still take over.
⚙️ Two new automation triggers
Automations can now fire when a student views a quote and when a student's status changes within a pipeline. Both open up follow-ups that used to need a manual check: a nudge the moment a proposal is opened, or a handover task the moment a student moves stage.
🔐 More control over your agency network
Two changes are rolling out gradually to schools on Edvisor. The first gives you finer control over how your school appears to agencies you are not yet connected to: whether you show up in search at all, and what those agencies can see before a connection is in place.
The second makes it far easier for agencies working with you through your Agency Portal to move onto the full Edvisor platform, with your referral credited automatically. We will share the details as each reaches your account; your partnerships manager can tell you where your school sits in the rollout.
What moved across the network in August, compared with July, plus a longer look back at 2025.
🌍 The top four hold, France and Mexico climb
August is the month the summer rush winds down, and the numbers show it: quoting eased from July's peak in most destinations. The top four held their order, with Malta still the network's most-quoted destination, followed by Ireland, Canada and the United Kingdom. Canada and the UK were the steadiest of the group, holding their July volumes almost exactly while the Mediterranean and Southern Hemisphere destinations cooled.
The month's risers were in continental Europe: France climbed three places into the top ten on rising demand for autumn language stays, and Mexico edged past the UAE into eighth.
📚 French and Italian buck the seasonal dip
General English remained the clear leader, with Work & Study English and Academic English completing the top three, all easing seasonally from July. General French was the only course type in the top five to grow month on month, and General Italian moved up two places into the top eight. Junior English programs also rose, climbing a place as agencies started booking winter and spring youth programs.
🚀 A quieter month, a steady network
Proposal volume settled back from July's high, as it does every year at this point, but the network itself held steady: the number of active agencies was essentially unchanged, and agencies kept bundling the same number of products into each proposal. Sales followed proposals down, which is the normal lag after a summer intake is booked.
📅 The 2025 picture
We also took stock of the full 2025 year. Across every proposal created on Edvisor in 2025, language programs accounted for close to nine in every ten course line items, with Work & Study the clear second and junior and youth programs the fastest-growing category, up more than 40% on 2024.
Higher education and high school remain the biggest growth opportunity, and they are exactly where the latest platform work is taking us next.

A warm welcome, and welcome back, to the partners who joined or rejoined the Edvisor network over the past month. Every new partner makes the network more useful for everyone already on it.

Liffey College earns the TrustEd Ireland Mark from QQI
Liffey College in Dublin is one of the first five English language education providers in Ireland authorised to use the TrustEd Ireland Mark, announced by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) on 5 August 2026. The mark is Ireland’s statutory quality mark for providers welcoming international learners: it confirms that the college meets QQI standards for quality assurance, learner protection and student support, and it comes with a place on QQI’s official TrustEd Ireland list and participation in the national Learner Protection Fund.
Established in 2009 on Harcourt Street in Dublin 2, Liffey College runs General English with TIE preparation alongside Trinity College London CertTESOL teacher training. The college credits the award to the work of its teachers, staff and students, and says it will keep improving its services for learners from around the world. Read QQI’s announcement.
KOIC 2026 Global Promotion: two weeks left to lock in Sydney from AUD $180 a week
King’s Own International College pairs affordable tuition with a modern campus in the Sydney CBD, student events and a genuine higher-education feel. We featured this offer last month; this is the final reminder.
The CoE must be issued by 30 September 2026, and the offer is open to eligible students commencing their course in 2026.
That's a wrap for September! 🍂
