UK Home Office announces Visa fee adjustments

 

Starting from October 4th, the UK Home Office will implement changes to visa fees. Here are the key updates:

  • Student visa fees for applicants outside the UK will increase by 35%, reaching UK£490.

  • Visitor Visa fees for six months will go up by UK£15 to UK£115, while Working Holiday Visa fees will rise by 15% to UK£298.

  • The Short-Term Study Visa cost remains stable at UK £200.

  • Graduate Route post-study work rights fees will experience a 15% increase to UK£822.

  • Premium services, including the Priority Visa Service, will see changes, with the former doubling to UK£500 and the Super Priority Visa Service rising slightly to UK£1,000.

Please note that planned increases to the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) are not included in these changes, with IHS fees set to rise from UK£470 to UK£776 later this year.

The Home Office emphasizes that these fee adjustments aim to support essential services and facilitate public sector pay raises.
