About Colleges Contra Costa

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Colleges of Contra Costa (Contra Costa College, Diablo Valley College, and Los Medanos College) are accredited, public community colleges that enroll approximately 800 international students from over 50 countries.

With annual tuition around $10,000, the Colleges of Contra Costa offer one of the most affordable and likely paths to excellent four-year institutions. Each year, over 300 international students transfer to four-year colleges and universities, with Diablo Valley College being the No. 1 international student transfer institution to UC Berkeley.

Contra Costa College

Founded in 1949, CCC has a diverse student body, and faculty members are committed to individual student success. Its programs, such as the Center for Science Excellence, The Advocate newspaper, the green Automotive Services program, the Nursing program, and the Culinary Arts program, are known for its excellence. 

Diablo Valley College (DVC)

Offers incomparable transfer opportunities and exceptional career-technical programs and degrees to students while responding to an evolving need for strong adult necessary skills and ESL programs. At both the Pleasant Hill and San Ramon locations, local and international students receive high-quality education and support services designed for student learning and success.

Los Medanos College (LMC)

Focus on student learning and success helps students build their abilities and competencies as lifelong learners, and provides critical educational preparation to succeed in their careers. With curriculum in engineering, nursing, communication studies, child development, instrumentation technology, mathematics, and process technology, students receive the resources they need to excel in the competitive workforce and at four-year colleges.
